Fortunately the North Shore and sea to sky corridor has not had any major forest fires like other BC communities.
That said, because our residential areas border the forest from Deep Cover to Pemberton our properties are vulnerable to the threats of wildfires, especially with the hotter summers we’ve been having.

The goal of the FireSmart program is to reduce the wildfire risk to property, infrastructure and public safety in the Canadian wildland/urban interface by helping communities become fire adapted.
